Our concept & our knowledge

Making the invisible visible

We created BeeGuard to put technology at the service of all the daily work bees offer us and the environment, as well as to help beekeepers maintain their stock and improve their honey harvest so they can work smarter and live better.

To help farmers and all the actors of the landscapes to understand and take the effort necessary for the preservation of pollinators into account. How to accompany and succeed in the transitions to a more sustainable agriculture or to precision beekeeping if the actors of these changes do not have metrics?

Based on our expertise in new technologies such as the Internet of things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), we’re building a tool, brick by brick, to make daily bee behavior more accessible and observable, so that they themselves provide us with the measure of the quality of our environment.

ECONECT Project

BeeGuard is a partner of the ECONECT project which brings together 6 CNRS laboratories and three companies. The project aims at analyzing the cognition of three environmental sentinels: the bee, the chickadee, and the freshwater snail.
